The Heilmann Trophy Grant

The Heilmann Trophy is a grant named after a woman who embodied leadership, generosity, integrity, and a true passion for wine: Wendy Heilmann, Director of Wine for Pebble Beach Resorts from 2011 to 2024.

Wendy led with purpose and heart. She was a mentor, a force, and a friend—and someone who made a real impact on the people and the industry around her.

Naming this fund in her honor—with a nod to her love of sports—just felt fitting.

Wendy’s passion for wine, her integrity, and her leadership were legendary. We are proud to help keep her memory and legacy alive by supporting women who want to grow, lead, and make their own impact on the wine industry.

Who Is This Grant For?

This grant is for women working full-time in the wine industry—not spirits—in the United States.

We offer three grants annually:

What Can the Grant Be Used For?

The grant is for continuing education and professional growth opportunities—from taking a class or test to wine education travel.

The hitch is that you must have some skin in the game. We are not here to make this happen for you. We are here to give you additional resources so you can continue investing in yourself, and we encourage you to think big.
