For over 25 years, Sara has worked in sales and marketing for family wineries in Napa Valley. What began as a job became one of the greatest loves of her life.

Sara found that her background in the film industry, focusing on stories that connect us, transitioned seamlessly to the wine industry. Whether through film, art, music, or wine, she has always been drawn to stories that make people feel something real: recognition, curiosity, joy, and connection—bringing forward the people, histories, and personalities behind each bottle in a way that feels honest, tangible, and deeply human.

Sara created Badass Women in Wine from a simple desire: to build more meaningful connections among women working in every corner of the wine industry and create a space to nurture leadership and support all women in becoming the best expressions of themselves, personally as well as professionally.

Sara is a Certified Co-Active Coach and, most recently, co-founded 3rd Person Creative, a branding and design agency dedicated to helping businesses connect more authentically with customers. In 2026, she launched 3rd Person WINE, where she provides wholesale sales management and consulting to family wineries.

Kendra has spent twenty-plus years saying yes to every corner of the wine industry—boutique distribution in Texas, national and international sales for premium Napa Valley wineries—and she’s still knee-deep in it, selling barrels and building Bird Snapper, her own non-alcoholic canned cocktail brand. What makes Kendra special isn’t just her résumé; it’s the way she shows up for people. She’s built incredible relationships across the industry, loves connecting people, and genuinely wants to see others succeed.

Co-founding Badass Women in Wine felt like the obvious next step. It’s her way of paying forward the support she received, creating space for honest conversations, and reminding women that they belong here. She believes the best part of wine has always been the people—and there’s always room for more seats at the table.

Christina has spent more than two decades with Ridge Vineyards, growing from her first role in the Tasting Room to running its domestic wholesale business. Along the way, she’s sold wine across the country and Canada, built lasting partnerships, and discovered that the best part of the business is the people.

Her passion is empowering individuals and communities to achieve what they want in life and in the world. She’s just as happy talking winemaking philosophy and distribution strategy as she is cooking a meal, writing poetry, making art, or finding an excuse to laugh. She believes great leadership starts with curiosity, respect, and leaving people better than you found them.

Co-founding Badass Women in Wine is her way of creating the kind of community she always hoped existed—one where women champion one another, share what they’ve learned, and make sure the next generation knows there’s a place for them in this industry.

Anne has spent a lifetime in wine, but she’s never stayed in just one lane. She began her career as an enologist, working in production at Far Niente, Spring Mountain Vineyard, and Cain Vineyard before making the leap into sales and marketing. In 1988, she and her husband, James Hall, co-founded Patz & Hall, where she wore just about every hat imaginable—from marketing and sales to leadership and business strategy.

After Patz & Hall joined Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, Anne helped grow some of the industry’s most respected luxury brands before retiring in 2021. Retirement, however, didn’t last long. In 2024, Anne, James, and a group of investors brought Patz & Hall back home, returning to what they love most: crafting world-class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from California’s iconic vineyards. When she’s not in wine, you’ll likely find her studying classical guitar or planning her next adventure abroad.
